Creative Dignity is a movement that has brought together over 500 diverse creative producers, small enterprises, civil society organisations and professionals to energise the ecosystem that Indian artisans need in this time of COVID-19 and post-COVID-19 impact. Our focus is to provide Relief, and subsequently work on Rehabilitation and Rejuvenation* of the artisans in a bid to ensure their sustained prosperity. Millions of artisanal/creative producers were stranded with no sustenance in the lockdown’s aftermath. The pandemic enabled stakeholders of an otherwise diverse and dispersed artisan sector to collaborate and lay the foundation for an unprecedented voluntary network alliance.

 

Actively involved with the following chapters

  • West Bengal Task Force – We provided relief for 1500 artisans and are now going to move into Rehab and Rejuvenation
  • The Karuna Dolls Project – Born as a livelihood initiative post the first Covid19 lockdown by #CreativeDignity (CD), Karuna Dolls has become a network of women artisan groups that create fun expressions of hope in the form of collectible traditional Indian handmade dolls. With the support of all the Makers, Axis Bank Foundation, and Axtel Industries karunadolls.com is now live in an effort to bring these happy creations to the children of today and celebrate handmade, old-school play toys.  Our sisterhood works to connect, like a bridge between rural and urban India.

OPUS : Founder / Proprietor of an organisation training for entrance to Competitive exams: Law, Fashion Design, BBA. CLAT NIFT Design NID. For going abroad for SAT, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, IELTS. We train for campus recruitment to IT companies. We conduct career counselling workshops and soft skill training programmes
