I met Paramita, a creative dancer who used art to promote concepts. A teacher at Opus also a frien Eshan introduced me to Momma Kuchipudi dancer. She knew Paramita.  The Qissaa journey began with pulling out all my sarees and planning who would wear what. We were completely in sync about the fact that we didn’t want perfection. So we scrimmaged and found friends hers and mine  and this stunning beginning happened

Nilanjan Basu, a prolific photographer did not believe in poses. He just asked us to be around. He clicked like crazy and produced these pictures. Imperfection in all its forms. No perfect drapes or colours. Reflection, reminiscing all morphed into this lovely assortment of pictures.
