Agatha Christie, With over two billion books sold worldwide, remains the best-selling novelist of all time, surpassed only by the Bible and the works of Shakespeare. Her ingenious plots, unforgettable detectives, and startling twists have made her the undisputed Queen of Crime.

Christie’s novels are celebrated not merely for the mystery but for their keen observation of human nature. Beneath the elegant country houses, luxurious trains, archaeological digs, and quiet English villages lie jealousy, greed, revenge, love, and betrayal. Readers are invited to become detectives themselves, following clues that are always present—but rarely obvious.
